Job Description
The Foot Mobile Engineer is responsible for ensuring the regular maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical plant. This role includes reactive tasks, managing sub-contractor work, ensuring adherence to BGIS Quality, Health & Safety procedures, and maintaining a safe working environment. The position also requires proactive issue identification and monitoring of system performance.
Requirements
- Ensure routine PPM is carried out
- Ensure reactive tasks are completed
- Administer sub-contractor work approvals
- Work on a Permit to Work System (BGIS)
- Ensure plant faults are remedied
- Maintain suitable spares
- Monitor sub-contractor works
- Ensure compliance to KPIs/SLA’s
- Monitor environmental conditions
- Proactively check LOTO system
- Produce near miss and risk assessments
- Challenge non-compliance
