Job Description
BGIS is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to oversee a team of Technicians in delivering preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services for assigned facilities. This role involves leading team members, ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements, and providing guidance on processes and practices. The Maintenance Team Leader also performs maintenance tasks and assists in maintaining facility systems and records.
Requirements
- 5 years of facility operations and maintenance work experience
- High school diploma plus trades training and certification
- Knowledge of fire, life, safety and building codes and standards
- Strong client-service orientation
- Effective communication skills
- One or more of the following (asset):Journeyman level Refrigeration license, Journeyman level Electrical license, Journeyman level Plumbing license, Power Engineering 3rd Class or 4th Class, Building Operator Certification, Gasfitter I or II
