Senior Shift Technician

Role Overview

The Senior Shift Technician will ensure all environmental conditions are maintained at all times with regard to critical building systems. They will supervise the day-to-day operation of a shift, carrying out PPM and reactive works within the contracted site. The role requires relevant knowledge of Air conditioning, UPS, Generators, LV systems, and the ability to fault find using graphical information and current alarm data.

What You Will Do

The Senior Shift Technician will be responsible for ensuring routine PPM is carried out on all M&E plant, completing reactive tasks, and administering sub-contractor work approvals. They will also operate a Permit to Work System, ensure plant faults are remedied, and provide parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial works.

Requirements

• Relevant knowledge of Air conditioning, UPS, Generators, LV systems

• Experience with Permit to Work System
• Ability to supervise and monitor sub-contractor works
