Principal Structural Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer with 10+ years' experience to join our firm. The ideal candidate should have multi-year experience dealing with the NY Department of Buildings. This position would be mostly remotely but the candidate needs to be local to NYC.

What You Will Do

The ideal candidate is capable of being both self-sufficient and working with a design team, with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of a regional business unit, developing new markets, reviewing project proposals, and performing structural calculations.

Requirements

• M.S. Civil Engineering from an accredited school
• PE license required
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office required
• Proficiency in Bentley RAM software suite preferred
• 10+ years of relevant structural design work
