Senior Surveyor

Binnie is seeking experienced Senior Surveyors to join our Geomatics Group in Victoria, Canada. As a fully licensed British Columbia Land Surveying firm, we provide a comprehensive range of geomatics and geospatial services to clients across the public and private sectors.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience as Surveyor or equivalent
• Eligible for registration as ASct or C.Tech. with ASTTBC or as Survey Student (SS) or Land Surveyor in Training (LST) with ABCLS
• Valid Driver's License
• Strong working knowledge of field survey techniques and calculations
• Self-starter who is able to work under minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Physically fit and able to move and carry survey equipment and tools
• Ability to work in variety of outdoor settings for extended periods and varied hours
• Ability to prepare clean and complete field notes and sketches
