Mechanical Technician (PT or FT)

Bish Enterprises is a family-owned business that empowers farmers with high-performance agricultural equipment. The Mechanical Technician performs diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on equipment, including corn headers, combines, and other agricultural implements.

Requirements

• Maintains good condition and cleanliness of company vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
• Follows all company and common-sense safety policies
• Performs basic and complex diagnostics on agricultural and construction equipment
• Completes reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate manner
• Repairs equipment as requested and attains stated goals for efficiency
• Participates in job-related training and development
• Works collaboratively with other technicians, parts, and sales personnel
• Ability to lift 75 pounds without assistance
• Ability to travel to training events and service calls
• Ability to work extended hours during the week and on weekends
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
• Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used in service shops
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Owns mechanic toolset appropriate for the work required
• Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of Ag, Automotive, & Lifting equipment
