Job Description
Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Substation Designer for a hybrid work environment. This role involves modifying or creating design deliverables within a senior engineering technician capacity, applying engineering principles and established designs to develop complex concepts. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with AutoDesk Inventor and physical substation design. Black & Veatch focuses on sustainable infrastructure development and collaborative culture with ample opportunities for professional development and growth.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
- Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
- 8-11 years of related work experience
- Advanced knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor (SDS) and physical substation design
- Intermediate knowledge of schematics, wiring, and panel fronts
