Role Overview

The Cellar Tech's primary responsibility is ensuring that only the highest quality product is made. This includes ensuring the facility cleanliness and quality standards are being diligently maintained. Being able to conduct all quality checks efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner is essential.

What You Will Do

The primary function of a Cellar Technician is the day-to-day operation of cellar duties required to produce and meet/exceed the quota for the products BHC provides. This includes maintaining machinery, assisting in the run-down and clean cycles on filtration systems, and working as a team member to produce a high volume of quality hard cider.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret industry/trade magazines
• Excellent knowledge of the industry and trends impacting the business
• Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to do routine business math calculations including computation of costs and pricing
• Excellent understanding of the principles of Production
• Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
• Must be able to lift & move at least 165 pounds at a time on a regular basis
• Must be able to remain standing for an entire shift
• Must be able to perform regular duties safely
