We're looking for a Product Compliance Manager to join us in scaling Block's Bitcoin and Digital Assets compliance program. The role involves driving compliance strategy across Block's Bitcoin and digital assets products, enabling new features to launch with confidence. The ideal candidate will have deep subject matter expertise in crypto compliance and thrive working across functions.
Requirements
- Serve as a primary compliance partner to the Bitcoin product team
- Drive compliance strategy across Block's Bitcoin and digital assets products
- Own Bitcoin-specific risk workstreams and deliver against active regulatory settlement milestones across multiple jurisdictions
- Build and strengthen Block's Bitcoin compliance policy framework
- Define what we need to detect and screen for across Bitcoin transactions and sanctions
- Champion the use of AI and automation to scale our compliance program
- Manage relationships with blockchain analytics vendors
- Work directly with engineering teams on how screening, monitoring, automation and risk evaluation systems are designed and governed
- Bring clarity and alignment to complex decisions that span Legal, Compliance Operations, Sanctions, Product, and Engineering
