Job Description
Blue Origin is seeking an Electrical Power System Responsible Engineer III (Solar) to join their In-Space Systems business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving future In-Space Systems products and services by developing spacecraft hardware and architectures to meet business goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience with advanced spacecraft electrical power subsystem (EPS) design and architecture
- Strong spacecraft design experience with an emphasis on solar arrays
- Excellent collaboration skills to work across multiple disciplines and business areas across Blue Origin
- Proven track record to operate with cohesive and effective teams and drive rapid decision making within those teams
- Ability to travel and/or temporary duty in support of growing tempos of production and operations
- Top Secret security clearance eligibility
- B.S. in an electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related engineering discipline
