Job Description
Blue Origin is seeking a Quality Engineer III to develop and execute commercial quality processes for the design, test, and manufacture of launch vehicles, spacecraft, and related technologies. The successful candidate will drive quality products throughout the organization and contribute to safe human spaceflight.
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. in engineering/science OR American Society of Quality, Certified Quality Engineer certification
- 6+ years’ industry experience in an engineering field with at least 2 years in a quality engineer role
- Quality experience in production environment. Aerospace, space launch, or military or commercial aviation preferred
- Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programs
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Actions, Process Improvements, and/or Kaizens
