Software Development Engineer II

Blue Origin is a private aerospace manufacturer and spaceflight services company founded by Jeff Bezos in 2000. The company is currently seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their Enterprise Technology team in the Greater Seattle Area. The successful candidate will design and develop software systems and infrastructure in languages like Java, Python, and JavaScript, and will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to accelerate all phases of vehicle development, test, and operation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience writing software and deploying it to a production environment
• Demonstrated skill in typed (like Java or C) and untyped (like Python or JavaScript) languages
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals like algorithms and common data structures
• Ability to solve problems by writing efficient working code, even when given incomplete or ambiguous requirements
