Lab Technician I

Blue Tide Environmental is seeking full-time Laboratory Technicians to conduct physical and chemical testing on Re-refinery (Motor Oil) process streams. This position is accountable for the certification of finished VGO and Base oil in accordance with ASTM specifications.

Requirements

• Provide accurate and timely data entry of lab results.
• Read and understand all analysis procedures and safety standards in English.
• Participate in proficiency testing programs in accordance with applicable standards and good laboratory practices.
• Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulas.
• Exercise procedural, safety, and quality requirements and strictly follow company policies.
• Work with and around sensitive and delicate lab instrumentation.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-organized work area.
• Responsible for the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
