Mental Health Technician- Full Time or Part Time Day/Evening

Full Time or Part Time Day/Evening Mental Health Technician rotation at Bluestone. Competitive benefits and salary offered. Provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment and participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required along with certification
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent hours of college coursework in relevant field preferred
• Licensure/Certification: CDCA, RBT or QMHS required for individuals that possess only a High School Diploma
• Three (3) years inpatient pediatric psychiatry experience is acceptable with only a High School Diploma
• Ability to deal with crisis situations which require prompt decision and action
• Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes and abilities
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using Hospital computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions
• Practical and creative problem solving skills
