Job Description
BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead end-to-end fund accounting for German Special Funds and institutional Chapter 2 funds. The role will be accountable for NAV production and associated operating model, controls, and regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in German institutional fund accounting, fluency in German and English, and experience leading migrations.
Requirements
- 12+ years in German institutional fund accounting with deep Special Funds and investor-tax expertise under InvStG
- Proven experience leading migrations
- Fluency in German and English
- Adept with system integrations
- Strong control orientation across NAV; audit and regulator facing experience; Big 4 background/qualifications preferred
- Stakeholder leadership across depositaries, custodians, external managers and auditors; excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing and influencing key internal senior stakeholders
- Direct client management experience
