Entry level position for Panel Finishing Cell and Solid Finishing Operations. Check for quality escapes and pack out components for shipment to customers.
Requirements
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Ability to distinguish and explain between levels of defect
- Follow and maintain all aspects of quality
- Open bales, crates, and other containers of packing materials
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence
- Operates a tape machine to secure packages/pallets
- Uses pallet banding and wrapping equipment to package components for shipment
- Operates a miter saw to modify packing material and checks and completes paperwork prior to shipment
- Learn the entry-level operation of the panel finishing machine
- Learn entry level in operation of the Hot Press
- Learn entry level in operation of the Glue Spreader
