Job description
Lead and directly contribute to all phases of software development for Mission Systems and Aerial Refueling Software with a focus on leadership, quality, process improvement, tool improvement, and automation. Work in a multi-disciplined, collaborative engineering environment that supports the design, development, and implementation of software for existing and emerging government and international programs.
Oversee the design, development, test, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle. Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial design of software products. Oversee debugging and resolution of issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
Demonstrated experience as a Software engineer, knowledge of the full software development life cycle, ability to lead a team, and superior judgment and decision making. Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills are required.
