
Job description
As a Network Engineer, you'll use your experience in system interoperability, OSI model, and server and network application administration to support the nation's defense. You'll develop specialized infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.
You'll apply your expertise in administration, routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, and system interoperability to optimize client operations and modernization. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects.
You'll make an impact on national security missions using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards. You'll have opportunities to further your career and work with a team of problem-solvers to help the Air Force evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.
