System Development Engineer

BorgWarner Technical Center India Private Limited is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer – System Development Engineer for PowerDrive Systems. The role focuses on executing system engineering activities across the V-development lifecycle while ensuring alignment with project, process, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in automotive systems engineering, electronics, or power electronics/drives
• Good understanding of Systems Engineering fundamentals and V-Model development
• Hands-on experience working in ASPICE-based or similar process environments
• Familiarity with system engineering tools and requirement management tools (e.g., Polarion, DOORS, Jira)
• Ability to understand microcontroller-based hardware and system interfaces
• Strong documentation, analytical, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively under guidance of a Feature Owner in a global team setup
