System Development Lead

The System Development Lead is a key role within the Systems Engineering team at BorgWarner India Propulsion Engineering Centre (IPEC). This position plays a critical part in end-to-end development of advanced automotive electrification products, acting as a bridge between project management, global engineering teams, and customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in automo􀆟ve system design and development.
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and V-Model development methodology.
• Experience working in ASPICE-based (or similar) process-driven environments.
• Hands-on experience with system development aligned to industry standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and ASPICE.
• Familiarity with project planning and task management tools such as MS Project, Jira, IBM Ra􀆟onal RTC, or Polarion.
• Proven technical leadership experience in new product development and product launches.
• Exposure to Agile, CMM, SPICE, ISO/TS 16949 methodologies.
• Ability to comprehend microcontroller-based hardware and associated schema􀆟cs.
• Strong collabora􀆟on, communica􀆟on, and stakeholder management skills.
