Community Access Technician

Boston Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a part-time technician to work in their Community Access Technician role at low-threshold shelters throughout the city, providing in-the-moment medical access to patients and ensuring safe monitoring in sedation programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years emergency response experience
• Strong assessment skills, self-directed, motivated, and flexible
• Pharmacological understanding of medications or drugs that cause sedation, knowledge of opioid overdose management and brief interventions
