Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Per Diem

Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program is looking for a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary, episodic, and recuperative care to underserved populations at various clinical sites. The position requires a collaborative practice with a multi-disciplinary team, eliciting history, performing physical examinations, ordering diagnostic studies, and initiating therapy in accordance with guidelines.

Requirements

• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Registered or eligible to be registered with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency
• At least one year of NP/PA experience required
• Experience in working with underserved populations, mentally ill, homeless and/or persons with substance use disorders preferred
• Life support training certification (e.g. CPR, BLS, ACLS) from a course that includes a hands-on, in-person component
• Bilingual proficiency preferred
