Medical Assistant

Performs clinic support in both the clinical and administrative areas, assisting with patient care, registration, and data entry, and collaborating with licensed Nurse/Physician to provide age-appropriate care to patients.

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant program or second medical-surgical clinical rotation
• 2+ years of work experience in a clinical setting
• Clinical competency testing
• Ability to effectively communicate and interpret medical terminology
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strict confidentiality protocols
