Senior Systems Design Engineer

Role Overview

As a Systems Design Engineer on our Implantable Systems team, you'll play a crucial role in developing innovative products for the Active Implantable Systems R&D team. You'll collaborate with leadership and marketing on product definitions and system architecture, and develop complex electromechanical systems with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include completing system engineering activities, executing multiple systems engineering activities, applying critical thinking skills, and providing expertise in multiple roles in the product development life cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering or related field
• 5-7 years of experience
• Strong written and verbal communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to build effective relationships across the organization and with external stakeholders
• Demonstrated working knowledge of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and external regulations
• Experience with requirement management tools and/or product line engineering tools
