Senior Java Data Engineering Developer

Role Overview

As a Senior Java Data Engineering Developer, you will be part of a team undertaking a large-scale migration from on-premise data infrastructure to a modern, cloud-first data platform built on Databricks and Snowflake. You will contribute hands-on to the migration, modernization, and optimization of enterprise-scale backend and data processing systems.

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain Java-based backend and data processing components, support migration of legacy ETL pipelines to cloud-native architecture, design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and services, and troubleshoot and improve performance of backend services and ETL workflows.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Java development experience
• Experience with backend/distributed systems development
• Solid experience with ETL pipelines and data engineering
• Experience migrating on-prem platforms to cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with Databricks
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse technologies
• Strong understanding of cloud-first and distributed data architectures
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
