Job Description
The Kraft House is a 12-bed inpatient psychiatric residential treatment program for adolescent boys, including those with substance use disorder, experiencing emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. The Mental Health Worker position provides direct care, supervision, and crisis intervention to youth, aiming to develop adaptive living skills. Shift assignments are based on program needs.
Requirements
- An Associates’ degree in Human Services or related field
- Ability to deal with crisis situations
- Effective communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- CPR and First Aid certification
- As essential staff, be able to work outside normal business hours
