Job Description
Patient Care Tech functions as a member of the team to support patient care in the Tele-Companion and Tele-Tech programs, with responsibilities including supporting diagnostic procedures, assisting with technical nursing treatments, patient charting, and patient instruction. Patient Care Techs must have excellent analytical and technical skills, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate adaptability to change.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- American Heart Association BLS
- Nurse Aide or Emergency Medical Technician certification (preferred)
- Prior work experience in health care (preferred)
- Prior education in or work experience with medical terminology (preferred)
