Research Technician

We are seeking a Research Technician to join the Garrity Lab at Brandeis University. The position involves carrying out molecular and genetic studies in fruit flies and mosquitoes, maintaining laboratory stocks of insects, and overseeing the maintenance of laboratory supplies.

Requirements

• AS/equivalent required
• BA or BS in Biology or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of research laboratory experience in molecular biology or genetics
• Strong self-management, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and as a team member
