Machine Technician - Mill Operation, 2nd Shift

Role Overview

The Machine Technician - Mill Operation 2nd Shift performs set ups and troubleshooting on equipment in a Stainless Steel Tube Production Cell, including Tube Mills, Tube Swagers, Tube Corrugators, Chillers and Tig welders, to manufacture corrugated steel connectors.

What You Will Do

Set up, adjustment or replacement of tooling, ensures quality procedures are met, communicates with operators and team leads, performs PM and mechanical rebuild on equipment, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production/industrial environment
• Strong mathematical skills
• Proficiency with measurements tools, use of caliper, micrometer, test indicators, etc
• Familiarity with machine control panels
• Basic computer literacy skills
• Mechanical background
• General understanding of welding, swage and forming
