Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) – Cloud-Native (AWS & Kubernetes)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take over End-to-End responsibility for our Backend Services and their operation. As a team member, you will design central functions that are crucial for millions of users and work on a cloud-native platform operating on AWS.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in backend engineering, ideally with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong Operations/SRE background and responsibility for the operation of services.
• In-depth experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and operational management of critical clusters.
• Proficiency in AWS or other cloud providers and experience with implementing platform and infrastructure projects independently.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform) and experience in automating infrastructure consistently.
• Experience in building and maintaining GitLab- CI- pipelines and automated deployments.
• Good understanding of modern service architecture concepts such as domain-cutting, resilience, observability, and clean interfaces.
• Good German and English skills.
