
Job description
The Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager in all aspects of construction management, with a focus on taking on advanced responsibilities and contributing to preconstruction, field and office operations, financial and business acumen, and mentoring Project Engineers.
Execute safety standards, enforce quality standards, support preconstruction efforts, assist with bid estimate process, analyze subcontractor bids, prepare permit applications, coordinate material and equipment procurement, and direct subcontractor activities.
This role requires passion for the industry, self-motivation, strong work ethic, good time management, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management and 3+ years of experience in commercial construction management.
