The Civil Engineer II position is responsible for managing day-to-day activities on small and moderately sized projects, designing a complete project, and preparing complete project documents.
Requirements
- Assign tasks and coordinates work with entry-level engineers
- Assist in determining schedule and budget requirements
- Assist with proposals to provide professional services
- Prepare permit applications
- Coordinate with public and regulators
- Occasionally interacts with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others
- Receive instruction on specific objectives
- Receive a thorough review of completed work for the application of sound professional judgment
- Travel to remote project sites as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
