Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a highly experienced leader to serve as Executive Director, Unified Lab & Experimental Platforms, responsible for enabling a seamless, modality-agnostic digital lab ecosystem across Research & Development.
Requirements
- Partner with Research leadership to translate scientific strategy into a unified, modality-agnostic lab application and experimental platform footprint across R&D, including regulated/CLIA environments
- Drive the lab application backbone—electronic lab notebooks (ELN), LIMS, and entity registration systems—as a shared, reusable foundation for all Research
- Strategically design AI-native lab functionality (not just digitizing existing processes) to enable a cohesive, integrated lab-in-the-loop way of working across instruments, assays, and applications
- Advance lab-in-the-loop AI, including AI image analysis (digital pathology, high-content screening), agentic instrument and assay workflows, and predictive instrument maintenance
- Build toward a multi-year vision of fully integrated AI, data, and systems across the lab ecosystem—ensuring experimental data and knowledge flow seamlessly into downstream Development
- Reduce fragmentation across lab applications while maintaining regulated-environment quality, compliance, and auditability
