Mainframe Software Development Engineer

Experienced Software Development Engineer responsible for planning, designing, developing, and testing software systems or applications for software enhancements and fixes/patches on the mainframe platform.

Requirements

• Proven Mainframe knowledge and skills
• Proficiency in IBM Assembler language and Metal C programming languages
• Strong understanding of security protocols and Security ESMs
• z/OS Operating system familiarity
• Source control systems experience (Endevor)
• Interactive debugging tool (XDC) and dump reading experience
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Database design and SQL skills
• Experience developing/utilizing test automation
• Familiarity with Java programming language is a plus
