
Job description
We are seeking a Controller to join our growing team in Lake Mary, FL. This is a responsible financial management position with duties that include supervision of accounting staff, financial accounting and reporting, and support services for multiple pool programs.
Prepare financial statements, oversee general ledger account maintenance, post journal entries, review bank statements, and prepare annual reporting requirements. Develop annual budget, monitor cash flows, and design cash receipting and disbursements processes. Propose contract terms for auditors and actuary, coordinate audit field work, and prepare comprehensive financial report.
We are looking for a self-starter with a commitment to doing what is best for our customers. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in a similar position, a Bachelor of Business Administration, and certifications such as CPA, CPCU, or CMA.
