Base Engine Design Technical Specialist/Architect

Role Overview

As a senior technical authority, you will serve as the design owner for assigned base engine components and provide system-level guidance and technical judgment across the base engine team.

What You Will Do

Lead detailed planning, mechanical design, analysis, and production release activities for assigned engine components, and develop and execute Design Validation Plans (DVPs) for assigned hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of progressive experience in internal combustion engine design
• Demonstrated ownership of critical base engine components
• Broad understanding of overall engine system behavior
• Proven ability to define and execute comprehensive DVPs
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including casting, forging, machining, heat treatment, grinding, balancing, and assembly
