We are seeking a Quality Inspector for night shift. The Quality Inspector supports the Quality Department by performing essential inspection activities and assisting with the evaluation and disposition of nonconforming product.
Requirements
- Experience in fabrication, machining, and assembly, preferably within the machine-building industry.
- Experience using standard measuring equipment such as micrometers and vernier calipers.
- A solid understanding of tolerances and surface finish requirements for machined metal parts.
- Experience with nondestructive testing (NDT) methods, such as visual inspection of welds, is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of corrective and preventive action processes, including root cause analysis, is a plus.
- Experience with CMM, FARO, or PolyWorks is a plus.
- General computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Completion of a machining or welding program through a career center or technical school, or an associate’s degree in manufacturing or engineering technology, is considered a plus.
