Design Engineer, Electrical

Role Overview

The Electrical Designer will provide sustaining facilities electrical engineering design support for clients' site electrical distribution systems. This role involves developing electrical designs for manufacturing power distribution and lighting systems, collaborating with architects and engineers, and reviewing electrical design specifications and drawings.

What You Will Do

Develop electrical designs for manufacturing power distribution and lighting systems, collaborate with architects and engineers, review electrical design specifications and drawings, design low & medium-voltage electrical distribution systems, and review cost estimates and budgets.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires 4+ years of experience in low and medium voltage power, electrical engineering drawings, and design of electrical power layouts, lighting layouts, and wiring diagrams. Experience with Revit and AutoCAD software, as well as written and verbal technical communication skills, are also required.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in low and medium voltage power, electrical engineering drawings, and design of electrical power layouts, lighting layouts, and wiring diagrams
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD software
• Proficient with written and verbal technical communication
• Experience with multi-discipline large capital projects
• Good Understanding of Design/Build (Engineering and Construction)
• Familiar with facilities document control systems
• Experience with electrical as-built drawings and project closeout
