Electrical Assembly Technician

Role Overview

We are looking for a time served Electrician to ensure that our equipment and machinery is wired to a high standard, within expected timelines. The successful applicant will join our Production Assembly Team that assembles, wires and tests High Speed Packaging Machinery for Blue Chip Companies Worldwide.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include assembly and wiring of control panels, reading and interpreting electrical wiring and schematic diagrams, performing earth, rotation, I/O checks, and assisting with electrical maintenance of the facility.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The successful applicant will have 3+ years' experience as an electrician, preferably in an Engineering background, and excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience as an electrician, preferably in an Engineering background
• Education in a relevant engineering discipline, Advanced NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Apprenticeship
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
• Basic computer skills in Excel and Word
• A self-starter with a 'can do' flexible attitude
• Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
• Drive and determination to succeed
