Mechanical Engineer IV

Role Overview

The Mechanical Engineer IV performs engineering duties related to the design, development, and modification of machines, systems, and components in support of the business segment. This role applies sound engineering principles with consideration for manufacturing feasibility, cost, safety, and operational performance.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include designing, analyzing, testing, installing, and supporting mechanically functioning equipment, developing concepts for new machine functions, enhancements, and upgrades, and collaborating with engineers and cross-functional personnel to implement operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related technical field
• A minimum of eight years of experience in manufacturing in an engineering role
• Experience in hygiene, personal care, or roll converting industries is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks with high-level functionality
• Demonstrated experience supporting or leading project teams and contributing to project management activities
• Ability to solve complex engineering problems and escalate only the most critical issues
• Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and machine systems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% as required
