Job Description
BWX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical, Aerospace, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineer to join the Design Engineering team in the Thermal/Hydraulic Design group. The selected candidate will work in a team to evaluate and optimize pressure vessel designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
- Knowledge of single-and two-phase fluid flow and heat transfer analysis tools and methods, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
- Superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Entry-level role, less than 1 year of experience required
- Ability to obtain and retain a DOE clearance
- U.S. Citizenship (with no dual citizenship)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance
