Quality Control Manager

Role Overview

The Quality Control Manager is instrumental in overseeing the quality assurance processes within an organization. In this role, you are tasked with developing quality testing protocols, conducting audits, and ensuring that all products or services meet specific regulatory and company standards.

Develop and maintain an effective Quality Control Plan (QCP), conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes, and lead and train quality control teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field
• Certification from professional bodies like ASQ (American Society for Quality)
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control software
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements in the industry
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality control or quality assurance
• In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and legal standards
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality control applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions to quality issues
• Proven experience in managing quality assurance projects
• Familiarity with statistical methods and data analysis
