Cyber Security Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a subject matter expert level Cyber Security Engineer to support a new DoD contract. The right candidate will understand software development, system administration, networking, and security and be able to take a holistic systems level approach to influence how we build our applications to meet the higher level security requirements associated with a system that bridges security domains.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include serving as information security specialist, reviewing all software, hardware, and infrastructure changes on the contracts, following the risk management framework process to support system accreditation, continuous monitoring, security mitigation; maintain security documentation, and other tasks as necessary.

Requirements

• Applicable combination of education and experience: Cyber Security T3: Bachelor's degree in information systems, systems engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Cyber Security T4: Bachelor's degree in information systems, systems engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Subject matter expertise with DOD/IC system security control requirements
• Subject matter expert level knowledge of system security engineering principles and IT technologies such as firewalls, encryption, and proxies
