Database Administrator

Role Overview

Join our team as a Database Administrator supporting critical Corporate Business Information Systems. In this role, you’ll work hands‐on with a broad range of database technologies—including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and modern NoSQL platforms—while supporting key enterprise applications such as Momentum and PeopleSoft.

What You Will Do

Support and administer Oracle RDBMS environments, including Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control. Perform routine backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations using RMAN, snapshots, and archive log management.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related technical field
• Minimum 7 years of related experience
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
• Hands-on experience installing and administering Oracle Grid Infrastructure, RDBMS, Cloud Control, and ASM
• Strong Linux administration skills
• Experience with database cloning, monitoring, performance optimization, patching, and O&M activities
• Proven ability to develop and maintain automation scripts
• Solid understanding of AWS services: EC2, EBS, snapshots, DMS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and S3
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and move between workstations
• IT security expertise and experience working within accredited environments
