Database Administrator

Role Overview

The Database Administrator will provide support for mission-critical organizations, including Enterprise Transport and Routing (ETR), Application Messaging Framework (AMF), and Information Transport Services (ITS). The role requires 5 years of database administration experience and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include managing user accounts, backup/restore, performance monitoring, and health and status monitoring of Oracle/Postgres databases. The Database Administrator will also provide focused expertise to mission application users and interact effectively with users to triage technical issues.

Requirements

• 5 years Database administration experience
• Working knowledge of computer operations, platforms, systems, architectures, functions, and terminology
• Experience with Linux (CentOS and RHEL)
• Working knowledge of Postgres, Oracle, SQL
• Experience with managing user accounts, backup/restore, performance monitoring and health and status monitoring Oracle/Postgres databases
• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
