Cadrex is searching for a Quality Technician III to support manufacturing practices through development, evaluation, and continual improvement of processes using quality concepts, principles, and methodologies to meet customer expectations of quality.
Requirements
- Release product for shipping by ensuring proper documentation/certifications
- Understand and apply basic GD&T concepts
- Proficient in dimensional verification of PPAP and first article parts
- Provide technical inspection of manufactured and raw materials
- Collect data, evaluate, and present quality metrics
- Program and operate FARO & Micro-Vu measurement equipment
- Attend department meetings as required
- Prioritize work order tasks for QA lab
- Audit internal processes
- Develop calibration procedures
- Work to establish closed loop cause and corrective action
- Provide on-the-job training for new quality inspectors
- Support management through implementing and communicating ideas
- Suggest and complete Continuous Improvement Projects
- Guide, train and develop new hires in Quality Lab
- Administer employee development training for the QA department
- Lead or participate in Quality Walk Audits
- Identify and implement continuous improvement process and project improvements
