We are looking for an on-call post office assistant who adopts a client-focused approach when serving customers at the counter. The ideal candidate should live in the community in question.

Requirements

• High school diploma or provincial equivalent, or experience in business administration
• Training and/or experience related to interacting with the public in retail sales and/or service, among others, sales and cash transactions
• Understanding of standard accounting systems or post office systems
• Sufficient physical fitness to lift mail containers weighing up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for long periods
• Flexibility to be available for temporary on-call tasks
