Canada Post is looking for an assistant in a post office to provide customer-focused counter service to customers. The ideal candidate should reside in the community in question.

Requirements

• Secondary school diploma or provincial equivalent, or business administration experience
• Training and/or experience related to interacting with the public in retail sales and/or service industry, including sales and cash transactions
• Understanding of ordinary accounting systems or post office systems
• Sufficient physical form to lift mail containers weighing up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for long periods
