Job description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of applications and solutions that support software and infrastructure delivery teams within Capital One. You will work in a cross-functional engineering team to design, enable, and develop software features that support the UK API Gateway.
Your responsibilities will include taking end-to-end responsibility for technical design, implementation, and operational considerations of specific deliverables, driving engineering best practices, and innovating to simplify and remove friction for engineers throughout the SDLC.
We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of building software that is secure, testable, and performs at scale, with exceptional programming skills using modern languages, and experience working with APIs over HTTP using RESTful architecture.
