Software Engineer: Back-End 10083

We're looking for energetic, self-motivated individuals to join our team as a Senior Back-end Software Engineer. You will design, build, and operate scalable, cloud-native systems on AWS.

Requirements

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
• 6+ years’ experience in back-end software development
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• RESTful API design and integration
• Advanced programming concepts, algorithms and data structures
• Design patterns and testing practices
• SQL database design and query optimisation
• Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Microservices and event-driven architectures
• Containerisation and deployment (e.g. Kubernetes)
